This really depends on your needs and preferences, but I can give you an idea of whether I think short-term or longer-term sessions will be helpful after our initial appointment. You can book straight into either a free 15 minute consultation call or an initial therapy appointment. If you book an initial therapy appointment you'll be sent a confirmation email from me with two brief forms to complete before the session, and a Zoom link that we'll use for your therapy each week.
I want you to choose a therapist that feels like the right fit for you, so this is an opportunity to get to know each other. We'll chat about why you're seeking therapy and what you're hoping to get out of it, I'll tell you a bit about me and my approach as a therapist, and you can ask me any questions you've got. Request here.
The first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know each other. We'll discuss your current difficulties, and I'll gather information about you and your situation whilst also introducing you to how CBT works. We'll also explore what you're hoping to get out of therapy and agree some goals. Book here.
